2018 show season continued with Tuner Evo returning to Daytona Beach but a few months early in April. The show did not disappoint and as planned they held the show indoors in two halls a the Daytona Beach Convention Center. Rain did happen on Saturday but did not affect the show in side. This year there a good amount of vendors/sponsors namely Highway Star Garage, Cardrugs, Garage 316, Tjin edition road show, XMP performance, Rotiform, Vinyl Sickness ,Hard Core Detailing showcasing XPEL paint protection, Truhart USA, Lowered Lifestyle, The Graphic Guys FL, Sorcery / Version two lab, Biotech, Slammedenuff, Avenue Performance, Airtekk engineering, Battlegang, Shitty Fitment Gang, Niche Road Wheels, Klean Society, King of Print, 4bangers Productions, Speedzoneweb and iamsimplyclean.
The caliber of cars was also very good for 2018. This VeilSide RX7 was a beauty.
The show additionally consisted of an RC car drift competition,
B-Boy dance competition
and of course the bikini competition.
Bear Dellinger was the host of the event

Wekfest added Atlanta as one of it’s festival stops for 2018 and the was the second major show for April. This is a well known show hosting events in LA, Japan, Hawaii to name a few. Having Atlanta as a stop is a very good indicator of the quality of cars that are in the state and surrounding southeast states. Being that this was the first time in Atlanta some of the heavy hitters in the car club/team scene came out to show. Beast Cobb, Emotion, Infamous Society, Clean Culture, NVUS, Stature and vendor cars from Rotiform with Bremen Autowerks, Butler Tire/Savini Wheels, SouthrnFresh, Tjin Edition Road Show were some of them.

Slammedenuff’s return to Atlanta for 2018 kicked off the show season in Atlanta after Import Alliance Spring Meet. This was held at the Georgia International Convention Center a much larger venue than last year. A good amount of vendors/sponsors were on hand including Bag Riders, Klutch Wheels, Concept One Wheels, Grip Royal, Carchicks, The Rising Sun Depot, LLC-Aftermarket Parts & Accessories, Fr3shnation, Clean Culture, Unicast Graphics, Tuner Evolution, BattleGang with RC playground sponsoring the RC course. It was a chill event, despite strict security checking cars prior to entering the event. Concept One Wheels/Klutch Wheels gave a way a set of wheels in the raffle also.
A lot of updated builds were on hand for the and this was a pleasure to see. Despite the security checks for the venue the event was great and well organized as it usually is. On to the event pics. For additional hi-res pics, they are available on cereal2k’s site
Festivals of Speed Amelia Island is in it’s 6th year and occurs during Concours week on Amelia Island. Two auctions were held Friday along with a cocktail reception. The main event on Saturday was the display of vehicables from many brands along with classic/vintage boats. Valentino Balboni was present at the event along with various vendors/sponsors supporting the event. Classic Ferrari’s, Mercedes benz’s, Jaguars, and some JDM imports were on display along with 2017/2018 models of some of the super cars from Lamborghini, Ferrari, Porsche, BMW etc. The event will raid funds for the Festivals of Speed supported charities and is a very well run and family friendly event to be able to see these vehicles up close.
Zdayz 2017 was once again held at the scenic Fontana Village Resort in NC. The usual activities ensued centering around the Tail of the Dragon. Leading up to Saturday’s car show and exhaust competition.
Many Z vendors and event sponsors were on hand including Fast Intentions, Uprev, Motul, Nissan,Infiniti, Fairlady Customz, Soho Motorsports, Forged Performance, Z1, Z Nationals, Zociety and others. Additionally a slew of Z clubs from around the USA were present. If you own a Z,G or GTR this is a must not miss event.
